I love this image, Julian – the brilliance of the white buildings seem to bring some of that rich sky into the city as if the sun is shining on them.
Thanks, Cindy! I wasn’t sure about the B&W images, but I wanted to try and draw out correspondences between the times and thought I would play around with form a little this time through. So I’m very pleased that you like this one. In another of the photos I have from the same vantage the sun is so bright that it obliterates the building!
